Support stakeholders in defining product strategy. Perform product, market, and analytics research. Create User Personas, helping teams clarify who they’re building for and how to discover what users want/need. Deliver visual documentation including taxonomies, user flows, wireframes, comps. Provide user experience mapping, identifying use cases and designing the UI across interactive states. Lead user testing efforts, designing tests, creating surveys and online click-through tests, and analyzing results and providing immediate next step recommendations.

Senior Producer, Educational Technology Group, Feb 2012 – Feb 2014

Lead Producer/Product Manager steering a 30-person, multi-city, interdisciplinary Agile team. On-time delivery and launch of a multi-year product: an adaptive K-2 reading software with 50+ activities, 3 grades’ worth of content, and a fully animated world. iRead provides an individualized learning plan, tailoring activity pacing and content to meet each student’s needs. Participated in field research. Created product roadmap and feature prioritization. Ran iteration planning, feature reviews, and retrospectives. Technical Producer/Production Manager, Digital Media Division, May 2007 – June 2008

Orchestrated interactive content and marketing initiatives for the AMC, IFC, and WE television networks. Appointed Technical Producer for AMCtv.com. Managed outside vendors in CMS redesign projects, application development, and ad targeting and delivery. Ensured quality, schedule, and UX. Implemented SEO best practices and Omniture web traffic metrics solutions. Created semantic CSS/XHTML layouts. Responsible for all AMC front-end coding.

Educational Video Center – New York, NY

Orchestrated marketing efforts for EVC’s curricula and youth-produced videos to U.S. colleges and K-12 schools. Doubled sales in 2 years. Promoted to Co-Director managing EVC-wide projects and budgets. Redesigned website video catalog and payment interface. Directed the design, printing, and mailing of 40,000 catalogs annually. Led media literacy/production workshops for grades 9-12 and for teacher professional development.

Curated educational film catalog for high school students. Led in-school workshops and video screenings for grades 7-12. Collaborated with WebLab and Arts Engine in creating an online video festival for teens.
